Dan Tripp
Dan Tripp, founder and president of Ground Game Strategies, serves as our Executive Director. In addition to serving for 12 years as a State Legislator, Dan has worked on countless national, state and local campaigns, and has traveled across the United States organizing limited-government issue-advocacy projects:

  • Served as National Political Director with Americans for Limited Government in Fairfax, Virginia
  • Organized and managed issue advocacy projects, statewide ballot initiatives and campaign independent expenditures in over 25 states during his tenure at ALG.
  • Worked on three presidential campaigns: Herman Cain (’12), John McCain (’00) and Phil Gramm (’96)

Dan was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1994 at the age of 24, and served in the legislature for 12 years. While serving in the House, he chaired the House Insurance subcommittee and was a leader of market-based health and property/casualty insurance reforms in South Carolina.
